Responsibilities
Identify and select data providers, including niche and hard-to-find sources.
Conduct negotiations and establish long-term partnerships with suppliers.
Analyze datasets provided by suppliers, with a focus on speech technologies.
Evaluate dataset quality and suitability for company projects.
Build and maintain a network of unique contacts in the industry..
Requirements
Senior-level experience in speech technologies / speech data.
Deep understanding of speech datasets (audio, transcripts, metadata).
Strong ability to independently assess data quality (recording quality, class balance, diversity, licensing).
Experience in negotiations and relationship management with suppliers.
Proven ability to discover unconventional and rare data sources.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
